Peptide COA Verification: Documents and Independent Evidence

Checking a document and independently analyzing a sample are different tasks. Be clear about which kind of evidence you need.

Two meanings of “COA verification”

One question is whether a report was genuinely issued by the named testing organization. Another is whether independent analysis of a received sample provides comparable analytical findings.

This service offers independent sample analysis. A new test does not authenticate a supplier’s COA, confirm its issuer, or establish the history of the sample used for that document. Document authenticity should be checked with the original issuer.

Check the context before comparing a result

A supplier COA can be useful information. An independent report adds a separate data point. Before comparing them, review the sample references and methods rather than focusing only on a single reported value.

  • Does each document clearly identify the material tested?
  • Are the sample and batch references connected to your order?
  • Were the same analytical questions and methods used?
  • Is there sufficient method context for a meaningful comparison?
  • What limitations apply to the selected samples?

What independent HPLC and MS can add

HPLC can provide purity-related information for the submitted sample. MS can provide mass-related information relevant to the expected identity. Combined testing helps address those two questions separately.

If findings differ from the supplier documentation, review method comparability and sample context. A difference is a reason to seek clarification; it is not, by itself, proof of misconduct or proof about the composition of every unit in the order.

Verification of our reports is being prepared

The Verify Report page is an honest frontend entry point for future online verification. There is currently no real report-verification database, and the website does not return verified reports.

If you need to check an analytical report attributed to this service, contact us directly with the report ID and document. Do not treat a screenshot or a successful-looking interface as evidence that a report has been authenticated.

Retain the scope limitation

Neither checking a document nor testing one sample guarantees a complete batch or later shipment. Keep the report attached to the sample received and tested.

Your review can bring together supplier documentation, independent findings, and the sampling arrangements for the order. Each has a different role, and the purchasing decision remains yours.
